Ability Plus supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing residential and day services tailored to each person’s strengths, goals, and needs.

What We Do
Ability Plus currently operates more than 39 residential homes and also provides day programs. Together, these services support more than 80 individuals across North Alabama.
Our comprehensive services include:
- 24-hour residential care
- Vocational training and employment support
- Behavioral health support
- Transportation services
Our Approach
All services are delivered using a person-centered model that prioritizes choice, independence, and respect. Programs are designed around each individual’s abilities and goals while providing the structure and support needed for long-term success.
We work closely with families, caregivers, and community partners to ensure coordinated and meaningful support.

Ability Plus believes community inclusion is essential to quality of life. Through partnerships with local businesses, healthcare providers, and educational institutions, we help create pathways to employment, skill development, and community participation.
